Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 3, 2026
This policy explains how Talented Tenth Ventures (“we”, “us”), the company behind CLOCK IT™ (“CLOCK IT”), handles information when you use clockit.legal and the CLOCK IT app on the web, on your home screen or from Google Play. CLOCK IT is a self-service software platform. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Account details: email address and password (or your Google or Lovable sign-in), and how you came to CLOCK IT, such as a studio referral code.
- Profile details you choose to add: legal name, stage name, business name, phone number, state and country, performing rights organization, professional roles, language and how you like to answer (talk, speak or type).
- Project details: song and project titles, studios, dates, notes, and information about the people who worked on a song — names, roles, contact details and ownership or royalty percentages.
- Agreement information: your answers in the Deal Studio interviews and the agreements prepared from them.
- If you are an attorney approving agreement wording: your name, bar state and bar number.
When you add information about other people (for example co-writers or producers), please make sure you are allowed to share it with us.
Information collected automatically: basic technical information needed to run and secure the service, such as your device and browser type, IP address and request logs. CLOCK IT keeps your sign-in session and a few preferences (for example, whether you turned down microphone access) on your device.
2. Voice answers and the microphone
- CLOCK IT asks for microphone access only when you tap the microphone, and won't ask again on its own if you say no.
- When you speak an answer, the recording is sent securely to a speech-to-text service to turn it into text. The audio is not stored by CLOCK IT.
- You always see what was heard before anything is saved. We keep only the answer you confirm, and whether it was spoken or typed.
- A spoken or typed answer is never treated as a signature.
- Your recordings, answers and documents are not used to train AI models without your permission.
3. How we use information
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To run CLOCK IT: save your projects, participants and splits, run interviews, and prepare agreements from your answers.
- To keep a history of changes on each project so everyone can see what changed and when.
- To credit studio partners for referrals.
- To answer your questions, fix problems and prevent misuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
5. How we protect information
Information is sent over encrypted connections. Access to projects is checked by the database itself, so people can only see projects they own or that are shared with their studio. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, sign-in, confirmed answers, the projects you own (with their participants, splits, agreements and history) and the studios you created.
Some records may be kept where needed for legal reasons: changes you made on projects owned by other people stay on those projects without your account attached, and records of an attorney's approval of agreement wording are kept as a legal record but marked as withdrawn. Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account and data yourself at any time, inside the app:
- Sign in and open Settings.
- Scroll to “Delete account” and tap “Delete my account”.
- Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted right away and you're signed out.
Can't sign in? See how to delete your account or email info@clockit.legal from the address on your account.
8. Your choices and rights
You can see and correct your profile in Settings, and edit or remove projects you own. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct or delete it, or to object to certain uses. Email info@clockit.legal and we will respond within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
9. Children
CLOCK IT is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. Users under 18 should use CLOCK IT with a parent or guardian.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, for important changes, let you know in the app or by email.
